In order to send and receive your POP mail you will need an external e-mail programme, such as Eudora, Outlook, Netscape, etc. You will need to configure the Incoming POP and Outgoing SMTP server settings so that your e-mail programme can send and receive messages from your mail account.
Generally, you can find these settings under the Tools or Preferences menus for your particular email programme. Important: Do not delete your incoming mail settings If you are already receiving mail from another mail server, such as incoming mail to your address at your ISP, you will need to add a new POP account. Sometimes this is called a new 'profile,' sometimes a new 'personality,' depending on your e-mail programme. If your e-mail programme only allows you to receive mail from one POP server at a time, make sure you write down your current settings before you replace them with your new mail settings so that you can change them back if you need to. Below you will find the server settings for accessing your mail.
Incoming POP3 Mail Server: mail.apricotwebdesigns.co.uk
Outgoing SMTP Mail Server: mail.apricotwebdesigns.co.uk or your ISP's SMTP server address.
Account Name / Username: Your e-mail address.
Email address: *******@YourDomainName.com
Password: The password you were provided on signing up.
The outgoing SMTP server requires authentication, make sure you select this option when setting up your e-mail programme. If your e-mail programme has trouble using a @ sign in the login, you can use a + , : , or % sign instead.

It maybe that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) is blocking port 25 for third party use. This means you will need to use your ISP outgoing SMTP server settings. You would need to contact you ISP for this information.
Yes. We provide POP3, SMTP and IMAP. You can access your IMAP account using the same settings you would for a regular POP account. (mail.apricotwebdesigns.co.uk) Just make sure your firewall isn't blocking port 143.
